About Us

Little Paws is a unique dog boarding facility in Orem, Utah exclusively designed for smaller sized and toy breed dogs. Although we cater to the needs of smaller dogs, we can have larger dogs visit on a case by case decision based on the safey of the dogs. We offer a home environment so you don't have to worry about your little ones while you're away. This business began as a dream of mine. My passion and love for dogs can be felt by anyone, especially the dogs. We are a family owned and operated business here to serve you and your pets needs. You won't want to leave your little dog anywhere else but Little Paws Bed & Biscuits.

Our Boarding Concept

What Makes Us Unique? Family Style Boarding

I could never quite feel comfortable leaving my little ones at a traditional boarding facility when leaving on vacation. Although they were adequate, the thought of leaving my babies alone in a cold kennel all day with limited access to outside breaks and playtime was unbearable. I decided a home environment was best, and Little Paws was born. We do boarding “family style”.  Your dogs will stay in my home as a part of my family. They will have access to my home, my large fully fenced yard, and playtime with my dogs and other boarding guests. They will be provided their own plush kennel space for feeding and sleeping. Otherwise they will enjoy the freedoms, fun, and play that they deserve while you're away.

Boarding

1. We accept dogs 30 lbs and under.  To keep it an intimate experience for your dog, we will limit the number of boarding guests to under 10.

1a.  Your dog MUST be dog friendly and non-aggressive!

2.  Guests are provided with care 24/7. We do not go home at 5 o'clock. We are home.

3. Guests enjoy as much freedom as safety allows to play and interact all day (always supervised). They can play inside and outside, take naps on the couch, and enjoy themselves until it's time for bed.

4. Guests bring their own food with them so they are kept on their home feeding schedules as closely as possible.

5. We will administer any medications the owner requests during their stay.

6. Owners may call/text daily if they wish. Pictures may be sent so you

can see your pup having fun on their own "staycation."

Frequently Asked Questions

My pet has a special diet. Can their needs be accommodated?

Absolutely. We are happy to comply with home-prepared cooked and raw diets. We will also administer medications as needed. Anything left over if not consumed will be sent home with you.

What should I bring with my dog for their boarding stay?

We prefer that boarding guests come with the food they're used to eating, however our food can be supplied for an extra charge. Any necessary medications and supplements, any chews, treats, or toys you'd like your pet to have overnight. Any easily laundered blankets or bedding from home, but blankets or bedding will be supplied if you prefer not to bring your own.

How can I check on my pet during their stay?

You are welcome to call, email, or text (preferred) to find out how they are doing. I am also happy to send pictures and/or videos of your pet enjoying their stay. Also check our Instagram page to see updates of your dogs stay.

What will my dog be doing all day? How much time will he/she spend in a kennel?

The purpose of Little Paws is to have your dogs stay in a home environment, free to roam, play, sleep, play in the yard, and interact with my family, my dogs, and other boarding guests while they are here. We don't want them stuck in a kennel all day and night. They will be with us in my home, playing outside in the yard, and relaxing on the couch. They will be in their kennel space for feeding, and sleeping at night.
